Spring Maple Birds doorbell design was created for a residential apartment in Taichung, Taiwan. This design defines the relationship between the family crest, doorbell, and house number plate which, in most cases, exist as separate entities. By uniting these three items into one, a multi- layered painting was born, embellishing the front door of every household. The functionality of the doorbell also seems to have disappeared and beauty has been brought into life in the presence of this new creation.
